I am delighted to officially introduce Courtney Harvey as a sponsored rider for Fiona Moore Photography.
Last month, I had the pleasure of visiting Courtney at her family farm in Staffordshire for a fantastic equine photoshoot and to welcome her to the team.
Courtney is a home-produced show rider based in Staffordshire who competes at some of the UK's most prestigious equestrian events. Throughout the show season, she can be found travelling the country competing at County Shows, the Royal International Horse Show (RIHS), the Royal Windsor Horse Show, and the renowned Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).
Her commitment to producing and presenting horses to the highest standard has earned her success in some of the most competitive showing classes in the country, making her an exciting rider to support and follow.
Courtney's Show Team
Courtney is currently campaigning two exceptional stallions:
Whitefield Prince Charlie ("Charlie") a stunning novice Highland Stallion who is just beginning his showing career, and already showing huge potential at just 5 years old.
Llanarth Steptoe ("Albert") an incredibly striking Welsh Section D Stallion who has undeniable undeniable ring presence.
Both horses were absolute stars during our photoshoot and showcased exactly why they are attracting attention in the showing world.
A Beautiful Equestrian Photoshoot in Staffordshire
We spent a wonderful morning capturing a variety of images across Courtney's picturesque family farm. The location provided the perfect backdrop for, with rolling Staffordshire countryside, beautiful woodland trails, traditional stone walls, and open fields creating endless opportunities for stunning portraits.
During the session, we photographed Charlie and Albert together, as well as creating a collection of individual portraits, striking black background images and of course, no visit would have been complete without featuring Buzz and Sally, Courtney's much-loved dogs, who enthusiastically joined in the fun and certainly made sure they weren't left out of the spotlight!
The Next Generation
One of the highlights of the day was photographing the foals on the farm. Capturing these special moments and documenting the next generation of future show horses is always a privilege and adds another layer of storytelling to a shoot.
Success at Royal Windsor Horse Show
Shortly after our photoshoot, Courtney headed to the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show with Charlie. In an incredible achievement, the pair returned home with an outstanding 2nd place finish and Reserve Champion title.
