In the last few years, equine photography has grown massively in popularity. With so many talented photographers now offering their services in the Midlands, you're like to have a long list of options - which is great! But it can also make the process of choosing the right one feel overwhelming.
Whether you're actively searching or just starting to explore the idea of an Equine Photoshoot, this guide will walk you through the most important things to consider when selecting an equine photographer who fits your style, personality & needs.
1. Communication: Do You Connect With Them?
Before booking, spend some time checking out a photographer’s social media, website, and any written content such as blog posts. The way they communicate can tell you a lot about who they are, how they work & their values.
Do they seem approachable and easy to talk to? Do their values or approach align with yours? A photoshoot is a shared experience, and feeling comfortable with your photographer can make a big difference to the final results - especially when working with animals.
