As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, many of us start spending more time indoors & reflecting on the memories that make our hearts feel full.
For those of us who share our lives with horses, those memories are often tied to quiet mornings at the yard, the soft muzzle that greets you over the stable door, and the gentle bond that words can’t quite capture.
Preserving that connection in a photograph allows us to hold onto it long after the moment has passed.
As the holiday season approaches, many horse owners and equine lovers start thinking about turning those cherished images into framed prints; either as thoughtful gifts or as meaningful additions to their own homes. Firstly, it’s worth noting that most photographers (myself included) offer a range of beautiful products to showcase your images. I currently offer two frame styles (including a charming mini stand-alone frames), as well as a Wall-Art piece and a Luxury Album option.

Measuring Your Space
Before ordering your print, have a think about where you would like to display your images, and take the time to measure the area where you plan to hang it. It’s a small detail that can make a big difference in how the finished piece looks in your home.

Find your spot. Choose a place that draws the eye naturally; perhaps above a console table, in a hallway, above a bed or fireplace, or even as part of a Gallery Wall.

Measure width and height. Leave a few inches of space around the frame so it feels balanced, not cramped.

Plan for multiples. If you have several horses or a mix of action and portrait shots, or you simply can't decide between a few images, consider a series of smaller frames rather than one large print for visual interest.

EXTRA TIP - Use tape to visualize. You can even outline the frame size with masking tape directly on your wall to get a real sense of scale before ordering. This will help you visualise the way the frame will impact the space & help you decide if you need to size up/down in order to suit the space you have.
