As we start to wave goodbye to 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible, joy-filled, and wonderfully busy year.
From meeting so many lovely people and their beautiful horses, to ticking off bucket-list moments and fundraising for local creatives - 2025 has truly been my busiest year on record.
So, let’s take a look back at everything that unfolded.

A Sparkling Start to the Year

The year kicked off with a bang, beginning with a series of gorgeous, frosty photoshoots - some of my favourite winter images to date. Shortly after, I had the absolute honour of attending the Photography Awards with the Guild of Photographers, where I was thrilled to receive Runner Up for Equine Image of the Year for my portrait of “Casanova's Valentine,” as well as securing a place in the Top 10 International Pet Photographers.

Springtime & My First Ever Tradestand

Spring brought a huge milestone: my very first tradestand at the stunning Chillington Hall. I also had the pleasure of hosting mini-shoots in front of the beautiful estate. It was a wonderful experience - full of learning, meeting new people, and soaking in the magic of such a historic venue. Chillington Hall continues to be a dream location, and I am so honoured to be involved in their fantastic events.

Unforgettable Clients & Heartfelt Stories

Throughout 2025, I had the privilege of photographing an incredible variety of horses, ponies, and dogs. Every single photoshoot came with its own moving story - why the session was booked, what the animals meant to their people, and how important it was to preserve those memories.

Hearing these stories will forever be one of the best parts of my job. Behind every session lies something deeply meaningful, no matter the circumstance.

Alongside my wonderful commissioned clients, I also ticked off some personal photography bucket-list items this year, including the most adorable donkey foal and a stunning Norwegian Fjord!

Community & Charity Work

Each year, I commit to supporting local businesses or charities through photography or fundraising, and this year was no exception. In 2025, I raffled off a Black Background Mini-Shoot to raise funds for a talented local artist who had been devastated by a break-in, losing her studio and equipment. Thanks to the incredible support of the community, we raised £257, helping Maddie rebuild her supplies and continue her creative journey.

This December, she has proudly reopened for Christmas commissions and is back on her way to creating stunning pieces of artwork. See her work & link to her Facebook page below!

A Star-Studded End to the Year

The year rounded off with yet another exciting event: the Equestrian Business Awards. At the end of November, Luke and I made our way to Peterborough for a wonderful evening celebrating so many talented individuals within the equestrian industry.
Although we didn’t come home with an award this time, I was genuinely over the moon to have been nominated for Equine Photographer of the Year. Reading the heartfelt words my incredible clients shared about their experiences during our photoshoots was both humbling and uplifting.
It was an honour simply to be included among some of the UK’s leading equestrian businesses, and the experience left me feeling inspired, grateful, and excited for the future.

A Year Packed With Incredible Horses

2025 has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve welcomed so many new clients and caught up with familiar faces too. I’ve photographed everything from Shetlands to Andalusians, Arabians to Sport Horses, Connemaras to Fjords - you name it! It has been a whirlwind, and every single session has been a joy.

Seeing the bond between owners and their equine companions is always a reminder of why I love this job so much. It is a true honour to be entrusted with preserving those special relationships.

So, here it is: the full 2025 slideshow - celebrating every photoshoot from this unforgettable year!
