ROR FUNDRAISER; BOBBY SHAFT

Earlier this month I was very lucky to photograph the gorgeous Ex-racer, Bobby (Garswood x She Mystifies), as part of my ROR fundraiser.
Bobby retired from racing in May 2024, however, current owner Olivia knew Bobby as a foal whilst working Part-time at Bearstone Stud during College.
During his racing career he trained with John Wainwright, and amassed several wins, including a win at Newcastle & several other top 3 placings whilst under his care. Since retirement from racing, Bobby now lives his days with Olivia, where he is very much loved.
When asked about Bobby, Olivia stated:
'Some people are never lucky enough to come across their heart horse, and I have my two living with me. That, I am forever grateful and can't imagine life without either of them'.
Alongside Bobby's Photoshoot Session, Olivia's lovely CobxWarmblood, Taysha, also joined in on the Photoshoot too!
All Ex-Racehorses booked in for a Black Background Photoshoot this February included a £15 donation to the Retraining of Racehorses, as well as a £15 credit voucher towards any Prints/Products.
The RoR is British horseracing's official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. Their mission is to safeguard the wellbeing of all former racehorses, by helping them to find new purpose and loving homes. The RoR also offers retraining and rehoming support, as well as welfare programmes for former racehorses to ensure they have a dignified and fulfilling life after they stop racing.
